A major feature being orientation on the block which had the living areas facing the north so that heat gain during the day would be maximised to avoid artificial heating.
As part of an effort to balance the environment section of my wheel yesterday I attended a rally, outside James Merlinos office in Belgrave as part of the July 17th National Day of Action calling for the shut down and replacing of Hazelwood Power Station in Latrobe Valley
On Saturday 10th April 2010 the inspirational new “Future Sparks” trailer came to Emerald where a number of different community groups and members of the local community competed to see who could produce the most amount of power using their own energy.
